The Burger FamilyThe Burger Family started with the union of Chris & Staci on October 2, 1999. They now consist of themselves, their son Caleb and Daughter Hannah. They also have 3 dogs who are Polar Mckinley Juneau Trapper and Willow. Last but not least is their cat named Millie. All those mention above currently reside on a 15 acre spred just outside of Alpena Michigan.

The Burger's are active outdoor people. They love to hike and camp all year long, expecially in the winter. They say there is nothing like snowshoeing or dogsledding to your favorite campsite and spending the night. Also when you camp in January you get the pick of the spots. As you can guess winter is their favorite season, they wait all year for it, and hate to see it go. The whole family takes part in their winter activities, from snowshoeing to cross country sking, to dog sledding, everyone's involved.

Chris is an independant computer consultant, while Staci is a Geological Engineer.

They have 3 Alaskan Malamute sled dogs. Dog Sledding is somewhat of a hobby for the Burger's, however they do hope to race a little in the future. In January of 2002 Chris spent a week in Alaska working with some friends training sled dogs, it was a real experiance. Chris even camped outside one night when it was 32 degrees below zero, and that was with out the windchill, you don't want to know how cold it was with the wind chill.

To find out more about the Burger's just poke around this website. Hope you all enjoy.

Hi! I live in Stellenbosch, in the Western Cape province of South Africa. I find it very interesting that the Burger familytree seems to be so extended, and as i notice A bit to my surprise), also in the US of A! I always seemed to think the Burgers are mainly to be found in South Africa, having come here in the late 1700's, and then mainly from German decent, as I have it! Are the Burgers in USA from the same line?
Regards! Hendrikus Burger (Rikus)
